Running out of Virgins

So, my high placed source tells me they are considering rationing virgins in paradise. It seems that US forces are far too efficient at sending jihadis to their virgins, and they can't keep up. They just used another 2,016 virgins today, when the mahadi army thought they would ambush our troops in sadar city. That makes a whopping 9,216 used up in the last nine days by the mahdi army alone.

From the Long War Journal
US troops kill 28 Mahdi fighters during Sadr City ambush
By Bill Roggio April 29, 2008 11:14 AM

Heavy fighting broke out between Coalition and Mahdi Army forces in Sadr City as US troops killed 28 Mahdi Army fighters after being ambushed during a patrol. Seven more Mahdi Army fighters were killed during strikes yesterday...

...US and Iraqi troops have killed 186 Mahdi Army fighters since Sadr threatened to conduct a third uprising nine days ago...
Here is some video of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System in action that is mentioned in the article. Runs 2:02.

Indirect Fire

I'm not a big fan of jihadi videos. In fact, I participate in the YouTube Smack Down (I know, kind of hypocritical, but all's fair in love and war). I like this video though. You can hear our artillery batteries fire, then moments later we are treated with the impact. THUMP...Swwwwwwssss BOOM! Music to my ears. Runs 1:28.

Indirect fire on insurgents rocket nest.. you shoot at us, we fire back!
"This video was shot by an insurgent in Iraq. After they shot a couple of rockets, we counter fire with a bunch of 155mm artillery shells. I tell you we are really accurate."

XM982 Excalibur

So what are our Paladins wielding? What any self respecting medieval holy knight of the cross would carry: Excalibur of course, a 155mm extended range artillery shell. The most important aspect of the Excalibur is that GPS guidance places the round within 10m of the aim point. Conventional rounds land within 200-300m. This incredible accuracy allows the shells to be used much closer to ground troops. The only problem is that we are only making 100 a month. Here is some pork barrel spending I can get behind. Come on Nancy Pelosi, let's buy some more XM982 Excalibur rounds to rain down on our foes.
